Nigeria held by Tunisia in CHAN, Chisom Chikatara continued his good form.

Nigeria were held by Tunisia to a 1-1 draw in their second group C played in Rwanda at the 2016 African Nations Championship.
Chisom Chikatara scored for the Super Eagles before Ahmed Akaichi equalised for the Carthage Eagles.

Nigeria started brighter and got their first chance in the 8th minute through a free-kick.

The initial shot was blocked before Ifeanyi Matthew pounced on the loosed ball which a Tunisian defender almost deflected to an own goal.
Tunisia nearly took the lead through their danger man  Akaichi who scored a brace in the 2-2 draw with Guinea in their first game.
Super Eagles goalkeeper Ezenwa made a brilliant stop to prevent Akaichi from scoring from the clear chance.
Ezenwa made another stop in the 27th minute to keep the score at 0-0.
Chikatara would have opened scoring in the 37th minute but couldn't connect to a a superb cross by Osas from the right.
Tunisia had the ball in the back of Nigeria's net but the goal was cancelled by the referee.
Like Nigeria's first game which they won against Niger, the first half finished goalless.
Chikatara who scored a hattrick in Nigeria's 4-1 win over Niger continued his good form by scoring to give Super Eagles the lead in the 57th minute.
Akaichi however struck for the Tunisians in the 69th minute to share the points.
