Kidnapped school girls regain freedom.
The three abducted schoolgirls of Babington Macaulay Junior Seminary in Ikorodu, Lagos, have regained their freedom courtesy the Nigerian police.
In
a report by Punch Newspaper, the schoolgirls were rescued in an
overnight operation by the police with some of the kidnappers getting
arrested.
The Lagos State Police spokesperson, Dolapo Badmos, confirmed the rescue and arrests saying “Yes, the girls have been rescued safely by the police in an overnight operation. We also made some arrests,” she said.
It would be recalled that the pupils were seized by gunmen numbering 15
while studying in a classroom on Monday, February, 29, 2016.
