John Terry, Blues captain honoured at London Football Awards.

The 35-year-old Terry, who has spent his entire career at Chelsea making almost 700 appearances, apart from a brief loan spell at Nottingham Forest when he was a teenager, has been the most successful skipper in the club's history.

Terry, who made his debut as a substitute in a League Cup tie versus Aston Villa in October 1998, has led them to victory in the Champions League, won four Premier League titles, five FA Cups and three League Cups as well as the Europa League.

\He also played 78 times for England, scoring six goals.

Terry was given the award for outstanding contribution at the event that held at Battersea Evolutio in London.

West Ham forward Dmitri Payet won the award for the Premier League Player of the Year while Tottenham midfielder Dele Alli got London Young Player of the Year.

Tottenham's Mauricio Pochettino won London Manager of the Year while Arsenal goalkeeper won Goalkeeper of the Year.

Moussa Dembele of Fulham also won Football League Player of the Year, while Chelsea's Eni Aluko won London Women's Player of the Year.
