New Blues manager Antonio Conte had made the 27-year-old midfield powerhouse his No1 target and now believes he has got his man after negotiations in the past 48 hours.

Chelsea have held lengthy talks with Roma, the player and his representatives and feel they have now struck a deal to sign him this summer as they set about revamping the squad that has made such a poor job of defending the Premier League title.
Italy boss and former Juventus coach Conte is a huge admirer of Nainggolan's and reckons his style of play he is tailor-made for the Premier League.
Nainggolan is keen on the switch and has agreed a five-year deal, with Roma’s blessing.
